Women's Day
Do we really need a special day to celebrate women? Is it really that small a deal to be a women? Is it really that delicate a topic to create controversies?
I say NO!
Being a women is a blessing. With no offence to the extremely supportive opposite gender, women today are undoubtedly no less than men. Name a profession and you have a lady there. Gone are the days when women were the delicate, beautiful, submissive, stylish, ornate homely beings whose sole intention was to keep men happy. Today, women know what they want from life. They define their boundaries and definitely know what exactly they want from life. Be it a homemaker or an HR, women are breaking the dogma and going out there to prove themselves, to achieve their aim. Today men and women go hand in hand and needless to say, men are also the supporting pillars for their wives, sisters and mother in every field. This is something that should be appreciated.
Of course we cannot ignore the male chauvinist part of the story, because if there's a silver lining, there has to be a black one as well.
However, ignoring all the gloomy parts of the story, my message to you today is that,
Dear Ladies,
You've been a chocolate pudding with that bitter taste yet the most desirable dessert on the plate. Be stylish, be pretty and most of all, be ambitious. You deserve every good bit of the silver lining because you know that you're the only one has the audacity to take every bit of the black, gloomy lining as well. You're a solitaire and you you surely deserve to be one because you complete yourself, you know you can achieve it and only you can do it because if you can't, nobody can.
So be you and treat yourself with the best gift today even if nobody else does. Treat yourself with a smile, with a bag of joy and satisfaction, with pride,self confidence and all the more courage, coz girl, you are the strongest and you're you, something that nobody else can!
